WOODCLIFF LAKE, NEW JERSEY

The residence in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey represents the first of a series of suburban residential prototypes developed by nastasi architects incorporating advanced digital design and fabrication methods. A parametric design model with embedded structural and environmental analyses allowed for an interdisciplinary approach to form finding integrating site, orientation, and environmental considerations.

The evolution of these methods began as part of the Architect’s thesis at the Harvard Graduate School of Design where it was awarded Harvard’s Rice Prize for the Advancement of Architecture and Engineering in 2003.
